We are delighted to share the exciting news that AppCyclers has been chosen as the Startup of the Month by the International Sustainable Chemistry Collaborative Centre (ISC3). ISC3 is a global organization dedicated to facilitating the transition of the chemical and chemical-related industries towards Sustainable Chemistry. Their mission revolves around fostering a circular economy and promoting sustainability throughout the entire product lifecycle, while also encouraging positive changes in stakeholder behavior.
At AppCyclers, we are a Ghanaian-based startup that utilizes web- and app-based solutions, data analysis, and community sensitization programs to tackle the improper disposal and management of electronic waste in Ghana. Our innovative approaches and solutions have caught the attention of ISC3, leading to our selection as the Startup of the Month for April 2023.
Our web and app-based platform offer convenient facilities such as pick-up and drop-off points for e-waste, repair services, and even a marketplace for material recovery. We are deeply committed to revolutionizing electronic waste (e-waste) management not only in Ghana but also across Africa. Our ultimate goal is to create a greener future by addressing the challenges posed by e-waste.
The recognition we have received as ISC3’s Startup of the Month serves as a powerful testament to our unwavering dedication to promoting sustainable practices and responsibly managing e-waste. We firmly believe that by working together, we can make a significant impact on the environment and create a more sustainable world for future generations.
